The Solano County Workforce Development Board (WDB) would like to invite you to join us virtually to discuss the development and update of our Local Workforce Plan for fiscal year 2021-2024. These upcoming strategic discussions are critical to help guide local workforce program development in your community.
Your input and participation is essential to help implement workforce programs and services that can support Solano County job seekers and employers in the coming years. Below are a series of upcoming virtual community stakeholder engagement sessions dedicated to elements of our Local Solano County Workforce Plan. We invite you to participate in these strategic planning sessions to help ensure our services are responding to the needs of the community.

Improving Job Seeker Support Services
Please join the Workforce Development Board of Solano County (WDB) and the community for a discussion on how to improve WDB Job Seeker support services in Solano County. As we face the challenge of rebuilding our local economy and workforce in the coming years, we need your participation and feedback on how to redesign programs and services to meet the needs of job seekers in our community. This discussion will focus on improvements to our job centers, career pathways, employment networks, and other supports offered by the Workforce Development Board of Solano County.

Strengthen Business Support Services
The Workforce Development Board of Solano County (WDB) will be hosting a discussion with the community focused on strengthening programs and services for businesses in our community. Many businesses are now struggling with talent recruitment, retention, and employee training, and the WDB needs your feedback to help design new programs to support those workforce needs.

Building Stronger Workforce Partnerships
To better support the needs of job seekers, businesses, and the local economy we need strong partnerships in Solano County that can move the needle on income mobility in our communities. Please join us for a discussion focused on how we strengthen new and existing workforce partnerships in the region, to help leverage resources and bridge the service delivery gaps for employment and business-related programs.
